I collect river stones for casting when I’m out walking along the shores of our many lush waterways here in Arkansas. Shapes, textures and size all contribute to the selection process before I bring them home and prepare them for mold-making.
I work with metal clay, mostly in bronze. It’s an awe-inspiring process that begins as a lump of boring-looking clay. And after shaping, kiln-firing and metalsmithing, it emerges as a stunning precious metal adornment.
Hypo-allergenic titanium posts help make my studs comfortable and durable for everyday wear. Highest-quality lab-produced gemstones remain stable, kiln-fired at 1600°F, and will not cloud or scratch easily, rating 8.5 on the Moh’s Hardness Scale. Stones are brilliant colors, classic round cut.
All earrings are coated for tarnish-resistance to prevent discoloration on skin. Clean with gentle soap and water and pat dry.
