I bought a little bag of assorted arrowheads at a rock shop along the Trail of Tears. Each handcrafted point was made for an entirely different purpose, shaped accordingly with masterful precision. It got me thinking about the unity of slow life… slow and masterful making of implements, slow growing and preserving foods, slowing down to contemplate, sleeping on a disagreement before reacting, and discussing solutions until no stone is left unturned…

This pair of bracelets is made from bronze castings of those assorted arrowheads, with selective patina and bezel-set gemstones. Designed to be worn as a set, the various shapes and sizes come together as a cohesive collection and a statement of unity.
I work in metal clay, both bronze and silver. It’s an awe-inspiring process that begins as a lump of boring-looking clay. And after sculpting, casting, kiln-firing and metalsmithing, it emerges as a stunning precious metal adornment.
Custom made to wrist size, my bracelets are comfortable and durable for everyday wear. Highest-quality lab-produced topaz gemstones remain stable, kiln-fired at 1600°F, and will not cloud or scratch easily, rating 8.5 on the Moh’s Hardness Scale. Stone is a brilliant round classic-cut.
Clean and polish with gentle soap and water and a silver polishing cloth.
