She officially adopted the butterfly as her personal signature emblem in 1973, representing the spirit she embodied: freedom, transformation and a nonjudgmental spirit. She once noted that she related to them because she “didn’t want to bite, didn’t want to sting.” This solid bronze and gemstone ring is a tribute to the beautiful, glimmering spirit that was our beloved Dolly Parton.
I work with metal clay, mostly in bronze. It’s an awe-inspiring process that begins as a lump of boring-looking clay. And after sculpting, kiln-firing and metalsmithing, it emerges as a stunning precious metal adornment.
Custom made in full or half-sizes, my rings are comfortable and durable for everyday wear. Highest-quality lab-produced gemstones remain stable, kiln-fired at 1600°F, and will not cloud or scratch easily, rating 8.5 on the Moh’s Hardness Scale. Stones are brilliant, embedded round classic-cut, white or fiery red.
All bronze rings are coated for tarnish-resistance to prevent discoloration on skin. Clean with gentle soap and water and pat dry.
